Satisfactory Academic Progress

Students who fail to meet the satisfactory academic progress standards will not be eligible to receive federal financial assistance until eligibility has been re-established. Note: Financial Aid Status is NOT the same as Academic Standing.

Measures of Satisfactory Progress:
Two measures of satisfactory progress are used:
a) qualitative academic standard (GPA) and
b) quantitative rate of progress (Pace).

Appeal for Financial Reinstatement

GPA Calculator

Use the GPA calculator to determine your present grade point average, determine what your GPA is likely to be in the future, or calculate the grades you will have to earn in order to raise your GPA to a target goal.  The Financial Aid Office uses this tool to assist students when GPA is a factor in their satisfactory academic progress status.
