This degree program combines system administration fundamentals with a foundation in cybersecurity concepts. Classes focus on best practices to implement, administer, and secure operating systems and computer networks.

This degree program provides a solid cybersecurity backing to information technology (IT) tasks. Classes focus on best practices to implement, administer, and secure technologies that are used to process, transmit, and store data.

The Data Analytics Technician program provides students with highly marketable skills in data collection, data analysis, communication, organization, time management, and problem solving. Students will develop queries for data conversion into readable, analyzable, and informational documents for employers and other end users.

This certificate will provide today's employees with the skills needed to face cybersecurity threats in their professional and personal lives, including phishing, data breaches, malware, etc. Cybersecurity awareness is considered an essential skill for business employees with all types of network access permissions from entry-level to executive-level personnel.

Computer Networking courses will provide the learner with the fundamentals of computer networking, including the practical and conceptual skills needed to understand basic networking, build simple local area networks, perform basic device configurations, implement IP address schemes, and configure and troubleshoot routers and switches.

Cybersecurity Fundamentals courses provide an understanding of fundamental cybersecurity, network security, cloud security, SOC security, information security and networking.

This certificate will provide students with digital forensics skills critical to operating a Security Operations Center (SOC). Students will gain significant experience performing multiple forms of digital forensics work, just as in a SOC or responding to an incident within an organization.

The Digital Forensics and Incident Response Program Certificate provides learners affordable, flexible, high-quality, experiential learning enhanced by an on-campus SOC.

This certificate provides students with the skills to address the management of information technology and/or cybersecurity departments and programs. The certificate focuses on the business/management aspects of the business rather than the technical skills.

Students will be able to elevate and manage cybersecurity risk for an organization and administer IT and cybersecurity programs.

Modern Computing courses give students opportunities to gain experience installing, configuring, securing, and administering data center services. Instructors will guide students in data center configuration and incident mitigation. Students will also learn the methods, policies and procedures needed to maintain systems availability and response.

Offensive and Defensive Security courses cover digital forensics, installing, configuring, and managing firewalls.

Secure Programming courses give students a background in the Python and Java languages for computer programming. Secure programming classes attempt to ensure that software is protected from vulnerabilities, threats or direct attacks. Students will use a structured high-level language approach to programming, with an emphasis on problem solving and design.

The Security and Hacking courses give students practical experience using security tools on Linux and Windows systems. Courses expand students’ knowledge of information security, which will provide them with the principles, technologies and practices to secure computers and networks. Students will gain skills necessary to protect systems and organizations from cyber vulnerabilities and risks.

This certificate program provides students with the skills needed to analyze malware infections and obtain detailed information about how they work, where they came from, and how they were written. Students will enhance their knowledge of security analysis which will support their roles in security operations.
