Collaborative Student

LeaHall12.jpgA collaborative student is one who is earning their degree from Bismarck State College (BSC) and chooses to enroll into courses at another North Dakota University System (NDUS) institution within the same semester.
  • Bismarck State College, where you are receiving a degree, is your HOME institution.
  • The institution where you are taking additional course(s), but not receiving a degree, is your PROVIDER institution.
The collaborative process allows the HOME institution to combine credits from more than one NDUS institution for the purpose of financial aid. For the collaborative student, this process produces a single billing statement and an automatic transfer of your academic record from the PROVIDER institution to the HOME institution.
