Limited Enrollment

Acceptance for admission to Bismarck State College does not automatically guarantee an applicant's acceptance into a Limited Enrollment Program. Some programs require students to obtain specific placement scores before being accepted into the program, and only accept a limited number of students each semester.

Programs can fill as early as a year in advance of the start date. It is suggested that you complete the admissions requirements as soon as possible.

Applicants for the limited enrollment programs must do the following:
  1. Have a complete admissions file
  2. Students applying for the following programs must have a program consultation. If interested, contact the corresponding person below and schedule a consultation.  
    • Instrumentation & Control (Online ONLY) - Vance Vesey at 701-224-2442 or Gregory Lugar at 701-224-2595
    • Paramedic or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Garrett Foss at 701-224-2695 or DeeAnn Werre at 701-224-2497
  3. Pay a $100 tuition deposit when you are accepted into the program. This is non-refundable.

  • Lineworker (Electrical)
  • Mechanical Maintenance Technology
  • Mechatronics Engineering Technology (BAS)
  • Medical Assistant

The following programs have limited seats available, but do not require a tuition deposit.

Limited Enrollment Estimated Costs

In addition to the regular tuition and fees for BSC, Limited Enrollment programs also have additional costs associated with their programs. For additional costs please see the specific program page under Academics.
