Student Services
Going to college doesn’t mean doing it alone. Whether you are a first-time freshman or a veteran returning to school after years away, BSC offers a number of student services to help you succeed academically and personally during your college career and beyond.
Mystic Advising & Counseling Center (MACC)
Feeling overwhelmed? Need help deciding on a career path? Maybe your grades are down or you need someone to talk to. The Mystic Advising & Counseling Center (MACC) can help. Professional counselors and advisors are here to help guide you through your college career and support you in your academic, professional and personal goals.
Peer Mentoring
Peer mentoring is an integral part of creating an inclusive college environment for students. Peer mentors are BSC students who develop relationships with fellow students with disabilities to provide academic support, social support, job coaching, independent living skills training, as well as support for self-advocacy and self-determination. The BSC peer mentoring program incorporates the guidelines and best practices established by ThinkCollege and from other secondary and post-secondary peer mentoring programs in North Dakota.
Career Services
Career Services helps BSC students make informed decisions about career and educational goals by using a variety of resources.
Student Accessibility
The mission of BSC's Student Accessibility office is to support the college in providing equal access to programs and services for students with disabilities and to assist students with disabilities, who register with the office, by providing reasonable accommodations that maintain the quality and integrity of the college's academic standards.
Veterans Services
Veterans, if you have served or are currently serving in the military, you may be eligible for education benefits from the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The BSC Veterans Services Office has resources available to assist you in navigating the VA Education Benefits process.
