Kappa Omicron Chapter
Phi Theta Kappa (Kappa Omicron Chapter) recognizes intellectual achievement, service, and leadership at Bismarck State College. Opportunities exist to earn multiple scholarships within Phi Theta Kappa and from partner institutions focused on attracting successful students.
Phi Theta Kappa is a powerful community of students focused on success through the promotion of scholarship, the development of leadership and service, and the cultivation of fellowship among students.
Phi Theta Kappa Eligibility
Eligibility at Bismarck State College: minimum of 12 semesters hours of associate degree coursework in BSC institutional credits, 3.5 minimum institutional GPA, and be currently enrolled as either a part-time or full-time student.
Recognized for Excellence
Phi Theta Kappa members are recognized for their academic excellence at graduation by wearing gold stoles. Membership is noted on each student's transcript, and each member's diploma will carry the Phi Theta Kappa seal.
