Bismarck State College (BSC) will hold Explore BSC on Friday, May 31, for prospective college students to learn more about program options, career pathways and the BSC college experience. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (CST).

Explore BSC gives high school juniors and seniors, and adult learners the opportunity to check out the BSC campus and participate in hands-on experiences while discovering areas of study that pique their interests.

The day kicks off with check-in from 9 to 10 a.m. in the lobby of the BSC Jack Science Center, 1420 Schafer Street. Following a brief welcome, attendees will have the opportunity to explore academic programs and career pathways, learn about the BSC college experience from a panel of current students, and get answers to questions about the admissions process, student success services and much more. Participants will also receive information about the cost of attendance, scholarships, waivers and the FAFSA. A free lunch will be served from 12-1 p.m., followed by campus and residence hall tours. The campus will remain open until 4 p.m. for attendees to visit with BSC representatives and visit the BSC Bookstore and Mystic Java coffee shop.

Attendees who apply to BSC during the event will have their admissions application fee waived and be entered for a chance to win a $500 scholarship and Bismarck Larks baseball tickets.
