Bismarck State College (BSC) will hold its Explore BSC event on Friday, Oct. 18, for prospective college students to explore program options and the BSC college experience. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (CST) at the BSC National Energy Center of Excellence, 1200 Schafer Street, Bismarck.

Explore BSC gives high school juniors and seniors and prospective adult learners the opportunity to explore academic programs and career pathways, learn about the BSC college experience from a panel of current students, tour campus and residence halls and get answers to questions about the admissions process, student success services and much more. Participants will also learn more about the cost of attendance, scholarships, waivers and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and will all go home with cool BSC swag.

A free lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and the campus will remain open until 4 p.m. for attendees to visit with BSC representatives and visit the BSC Bookstore and Mystic Java coffee shop.

Attendees who apply to BSC during the ExploreBSC event will have their admissions application fee waived and be entered for a chance to win a $500 scholarship.
