The 41st annual Energy Generation Conference (EGC) runs Jan. 28-30, filling the Bismarck Event Center Exhibit Hall with an expanded exhibitor showcase and training for more than 2,000 energy workers from across the United States and Canada.

One of the premier energy industry conferences in North America, the EGC offers professional development in all areas of energy production from engineering and environment to safety and support services.

Coordinated by Bismarck State College Continuing Education and TrainND, the conference begins with pre-conference training all day Tuesday, Jan. 28, in the Bismarck Event Center Exhibit Hall. The Exhibitor Showcase, the only event open to the public, runs 4:30 to 6 p.m. and features more than 300 vendors.

Wednesday and Thursday, Jan. 29 and 30, consists of morning and afternoon speakers as well as concurrent information sessions for key areas such as engineering, electrical, emerging technology, environmental, information technology/instrumentation, mechanical, operations, safety and professional development. Keynote speaker Kyle Menard – entrepreneur, speaker, best-selling author, award-winning extreme athlete, and the first man to bearcrawl to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro – will inspire audiences with his story of having been born with a rare condition known as congenital amputation that left him with arms that end at the elbows and legs that end near his knees, and learning to live life independently and without prosthetics.

Online registration is available at egcnd.com. For more information or help with registration, call BSC Continuing Education at 701-224-5600 or 877-846-9387.
