Experience passion, mystery and transformation as Bismarck State College (BSC) Theatre opens its 2024-25 season with an unforgettable theatrical experience that brings a dark but beautiful twist to the stage. The musical production of “Jekyll & Hyde” will be presented October 17-20, on the BSC campus to kick off this year’s spooky season.

With lyrics and a book by Leslie Bricusse, and music by Frank Wildhorn, "Jekyll & Hyde" is the classic tale of Dr. Henry Jekyll and his alter ego, Edward Hyde. This adaptation offers a deep exploration of human nature's duality.

"At its core, this story explores the duality of human nature, what lies behind the facade, and the constant battle between good and evil that resides within all of us,” says BSC Theatre director, Daniel Walstad. “What fascinates me about this show is its exploration of the choices we make and how they shape not only our futures but the lives of those around us."

Audiences can expect a haunting and emotionally charged musical journey into the complexities of the human psyche, set to an unforgettable score.  This show deals with adult themes and is not recommended for small children.
