Bismarck State College (BSC) will host the IgniteND conference on June 6-8 at the BSC National Energy Center of Excellence. The mission of the three-day conference is to provide educators, administrators, ad tech coordinators, parents and policymakers opportunities to obtain the tools needed to effectively implement North Dakota’s PK-20W Initiative: “Every Student. Every School. Cyber Educated.”

Conference participants will engage in discussions and breakout sessions on 21st-century education topics such as computer science and cybersecurity as a foundation for success in a global, digital economy. The conference keynote speaker is Leslie Fisher, director of Fisher Technologies, Inc. Fisher specializes in K-12 educational technology presentation services as well as onsite and online professional development. The featured speaker is Heather Keeler, founder of Two Feathers, LLC.

The event will be held at BSC in the National Energy Center of Excellence Bavendick State Room and the registration fee for the three days is $99. Registration is free for teachers, administrators and counselors using promo code ThanksDPI.  For more information and to register, visit ignitend.com.
