Thirty-two BSC Dual Credit/Early Entry students have earned the distinction of being named to the BSC President's Honor Roll for the Spring 2023 semester. The students recognized for this achievement were each enrolled in 12 to 22 credits at BSC.
"President Theodore Roosevelt said, 'Far and away the best prize that life offers is the chance to work hard at work worth doing.' We're so proud of our students who have demonstrated that their academic studies are 'worth doing.' Their accomplishments at BSC will serve them well into their future, wherever that takes them," says BSC President Douglas J. Jensen.
Dual Credit/Early Entry students are high school sophomores, juniors and seniors who take BSC college courses that allow them to meet their high school graduation requirements and receive college credit at the same time. Students must maintain at least a 3.50 grade point average on a 4.00 scale while enrolled in at least 12 BSC semester credits to qualify for the President's Honor Roll. Students enrolled in 12 or more semester credits are considered full-time BSC students.
In Spring 2023, more than 1340 high school students kick-started their college career at BSC by enrolling in Dual Credit/Early Entry classes. That is 46% more students than in Spring 2022.
