The Music program at Bismarck State College presents “Sing Appeal” Saturday, April 21, at 7:30 p.m. in the BSC National Energy Center of Excellence Bavendick Stateroom.

Six Appeal, a professional a cappella vocal band from Minneapolis, performs along with the BSC Men’s Ensemble under the direction of Dawn Hagerott. Concert prep begins Friday evening with vocal work and rehearsals with members of Six Appeal and BSC Men’s Ensemble and finishes with the public showcase on Saturday evening.

Tickets can be purchased at the door. General admission is $15 for adults, $10 for students and seniors, preschool and under are free.

Six Appeal is a world class vocal ensemble infused with sharp comedic timing, and the energy and vitality of a rock band. Swearing off instruments, the award winning vocal band takes audiences on a journey that spans decades of music – performing classic oldies, current chart toppers, and catchy original tunes – completely a cappella. Two Bismarck men are members – Reuben Hushagen, 2009 BSC graduate and former BSC Men’s Ensemble member, and Jordan Roll, the group’s manager.

Sing Appeal is part of BSC ArtsQuest 2018, a month-long celebration of music, art, theater, literature and film.
