Here in North Dakota we have enough coal to give us power for more than the next 800 years.
But our state is rich with many natural resources, including wind.
Coal still remains the highly reliable base source of energy that we rely on for power.
BNI Energy President Wade Boeshans says, "We're in a smart phone, smart car, smart house, 24-7 and we can't be without power for even a millisecond."
