The first round of the NJCAA Div. II Region XIII Volleyball Tournament begins Wednesday, October 24 in the Bismarck State College Armory.

BSC, the No. 2 seed in the Mon-Dak Conference, hosts No. 5 seed Miles Community College (Mont.) at 7 p.m. in the conference tournament quarterfinal. A win will send the Mystics to Wahpeton where 17th-ranked NDSCS is the No. 1 seed.

I think we're feeling pretty good about how we're playing and competing," said sophomore setter Jessie Oja. "Right now it's the end of the season so you have to give it your all."

The Mystics head into postseason play with a banner 25-7 mark and have been ranked as high as 13th in the NJCAA Div. II rankings earlier in the season, which is believed to be the highest in program history. The Mystics won 10 of 12 conference matches this fall and are 3-0 against Miles Community College this season, winning nine of 10 sets.

Wednesday night's fan theme is "White Out."
