BSC Baroque concert scheduled Nov. 2

Bismarck State College presents its annual Baroque Festival concert at noon Thursday, Nov. 2, in the Leach Music Center within Schafer Hall on the BSC campus.
Faculty and students will perform solo and ensemble works by J.S. Bach, Handel, Purcell, and others during the 50-minute concert that is free to the public.
Several vocal and instrumental chamber groups perform, including the Concert Choir, Guitar Ensemble, Brass Ensemble, String Ensemble, Men’s Ensemble and Women’s Ensemble. Faculty directors are Dr. Jeff Stone, Doug Klein, Dr. John Darling, Laura Prokopyk, Dawn Hagerott, and Clyde Bauman.
Featured soloists are students Kara Hathaway, Matthew Irvine and BSC faculty member Michael Langer.
