Dr. Larry C. Skogen was the sixth president of Bismarck State College and served the institution from 2007 to 2020. His passion, dedication, leadership, and commitment to advancing the arts and humanities have positioned BSC to fulfill this need within our community. During his time as BSC president, Dr. Skogen was dedicated to the arts and expanding students’ abilities within and access to the arts ¬– creating a college and culture of learning. In addition, Dr. Skogen understood the critical importance of a modern library and how it is central to all students, especially those in humanities, arts and transfer programs.

Please join us for a program to name LEA Hall in honor of former BSC President Dr. Larry C. Skogen.

Following the program, refreshments will be served in the BSC Library.
