BSC Students
Individuals enrolled in an on-campus or online BSC course that requires a proctor for their exams can complete their exams with Testing Services free of charge. Students must make an appointment at least 24 hours in advance and bring a photo ID to each appointment. All exams must be completed by 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 12:00 p.m. on Friday. For paper exams, please see make-up testing.
Non-BSC Students
Bismarck State College supports distance learning by providing proctoring services for students away from their campuses or individuals needing to take exams through testing companies or businesses. Exams can be either paper-pencil or web-based. Examinee is responsible for notifying the college/business to send all exam information to Testing Services.
Non-BSC students are required to pay a $20 proctoring fee using a credit or debit card in the Testing Services Office. No cash will be accepted.

ATI TEAS Testing - Dakota Nursing Program
Register for your exam at www.atitesting.com. For test dates, frequently asked questions and more, visit https://dakotanursing.org/home-2/pn-certificate/. Students taking the TEAS test for a different institution will be required to pay a $20 proctoring fee. The TEAS test must be taken by March, however, BSC Testing Services administers the TEAS tests from October through May. Scores are valid for 2 years.
Meazure
Meazure provides computer-based testing for certification and professional licensure exams. To obtain a list of organizations engaged in collaboration with Meazure, we recommend visiting their official website. If you have any inquiries regarding these exams or wish to register, please reach out to Meazure either via their website or by calling 1-855-772-8678. Meazure covers the proctoring fee for examinees.
Certiport Testing
BSC offers certifications in Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) but is open for requests for other exams. Visit https://certiport.pearsonvue.com/ for more information. A $20 proctoring fee, using a credit or debit card in the Testing Services Office is required.
McKissock

WorkKeys
High school students can take the WorkKeys test for the ND Academic Scholarship or ND Career and Technical Education Scholarship. The sections include:
- WorkKeys Applied Math
- WorkKeys Workplace Documents
- WorkKeys Graphic Literacy
Additional information about each assessment can be found on the ACT WorkKeys' web site. A WorkKeys test can be scheduled through our online scheduler. Pearson Vue
Pearson Vue provides licensure, certification, and education testing across all major industries. BSC is a Pearson Vue test center with the ability to proctor exams for over 450 different companies and organizations. For questions or to register, please visit Pearson Vue's website at www.pearsonvue.com. The Pearson Vue website also contains additional contact information for individual programs. There is no proctor/administration fee required for the Pearson Vue test.
The Praxis® tests measure the academic skills and subject-specific content knowledge needed for teaching. The Praxis tests are taken by individuals entering the teaching profession as part of the certification process required by many states and professional licensing organizations. There is no proctor/administration fee required for the Praxis test.
The TOEFL test is the leading English-Language test for study, immigration and work. Prospective students whose native language is not English must submit proof of English Proficiency before attending BSC. BSC does not administer the TOEFL test; however, with a score of 70 or higher, BSC will accept the TOEFL test as proof of English Proficiency.
