Inspiring Tomorrow: CTE Educators Workshop

Join us for the K-16 CTE Teacher Workshop, an immersive 4-day professional development experience designed to equip educators with tools and knowledge to inspire the next generation in automation, energy, and advanced manufacturing careers. Discover the transformative impact of Industry 4.0 technologies, gain practical experience with robotics and industrial controls, investigate renewable energy, and learn more about Competitive Integrated Employment and how individuals with disabilities contribute to workforce solutions. By integrating these advanced concepts into classrooms, you will play a pivotal role in preparing students for the evolving landscape of energy production and cutting-edge manufacturing opportunities.
 

Camp Details

Dates: July 14-17th
Time: Monday July 14th from 11 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday July 15th from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday July 16th from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Thursday July 17th from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Location: Advanced Technology Center, Bismarck State College

Teachers will have the option to receive 2 or 3 professional development credits if the following requirements are met:
  1. 1. Participants who attend and participate in all hours and activities during the four-day workshop will be eligible for two professional development credits.
  2. A third credit can be earned by completing additional self-paced coursework outside of the face-to-face instructional time.
    • 5 hours of activities with Bit Board Rover Kit (free for workshop attendees)
    • 5 hours of activities about Assistive and Advanced Technology
    • 5 hours of activities related to Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing)
