Official Transcripts

Bismarck State College has authorized Parchment to provide official transcript ordering online. This service will allow you to order official transcripts securely via the web anytime. In addition to the automated ordering service, you will also be able to track your order status, receive timely email notices regarding your transcript request, as well as review your order status history. 

NDUS colleges or universities to which you have applied will be able to retrieve your academic transcript at no charge to you.
  • Do not place an order for a transcript for admissions purposes from the following institutions: 
    • Dakota College at Bottineau
    • Dickinson State University
    • Lake Region State College
    • Mayville State College
    • Minot State University
    • North Dakota State College of Science
    • North Dakota State University
    • University of North Dakota
    • Valley City State University
    • Williston State College


**When placing an order, be sure to use Firefox or Chrome browser.

  • Payment - You must have a major credit/debit card and a valid email address to request an official transcript through this service.
  • Multiple transcripts – hard-copy transcripts sent to one recipient will be sealed in individual envelopes and mailed in one package.
  • Past due balance/hold on record – a transcript cannot be issued if a past due balance or other holds are on record preventing a transcript to be released.

Important Notice Regarding Transcripts Between North Dakota Public Colleges and Universities (NDUS)
 
For the purpose of being admitted to another North Dakota University System college or university, you do not need to order a transcript from BSC.  Instead, the NDUS college or university to which you have applied will retrieve your academic transcript at no charge to you.  You will, however, be notified if you have any holds on your academic transcript.

Processing Options
  • Now - complete/current transcript.
  • Hold for Grades - for transcripts to include the most recent grades, be sure to select “Hold for Grades” as the processing option.  Payment is charged at the time the order is processed. For current semester only.
  • Hold for Degree – for transcripts to include the degree earned, be sure to select “Hold for Degree” as the processing option.  Payment is charged at the time the order is processed. For current semester only.
Delivery and Payment Options

Fees are charged per transcript:

-Electronic $10

-Standard USPS $10

  • Transcripts will be mailed within 3 business days

-Standard USPS International $10
  • Transcripts will be mailed within 3 business days
-Hold for Pickup $10
  • Available within 3 business days. Student will be notified when transcript is available for pickup.  Photo ID is required.

The Bismarck State College official transcript is printed on security sensitive paper and includes the College seal and the signature of the Registrar.

Current and Former Students with CampusConnection access may view and print unofficial transcripts free of charge at any time via CampusConnection.
