Recruiting Interns

In order to graduate, BSC's Agriculture students are required to complete a cooperative education internship with on-the-job training at an agricultural business. Training consists of a minimum of 400 hours completed during the summer session in the first year of the program.

If your company would like to provide internship opportunities to our students, contact Carmel Miller, Associate Professor of Precision Agriculture via email or by calling 701-224-5557.

Hiring Graduates

BSC offers three options for hiring our graduates:
  1. Post a position: Companies that have an open position can have it posted on Job Seekers Network free of charge! Job Seekers Network is an online system available to all students and alumni to use during their employment search with local, regional and national companies.
  2. Recruit on campus: If you are interested in visiting BSC to recruit ATNR program graduates, contact Carmel Miller, Associate Professor of Precision Agriculture via email or by calling 701-224-5557.
  3. Partner with us: Grow your own workforce with our Agronomy Placement Incentive Program.  The future of the agronomy industry is dependent upon securing a talented workforce; BSC offers opportunities for regional agronomy companies to partner with us to recruit and train individuals to meet your company's workforce needs.
Get involved with our program to encourage agriculture as a career choice. For more information contact Carmel Miller, Associate Professor of Precision Agriculture via email or by calling 701-224-5557.
