The Frontier Precision Surveying Lab is located on the 3rd floor in the National Energy Center of Excellence on the Bismarck State College campus. The lab includes an array of modern and traditional surveying equipment.
INDUSTRY PARTNERSHIP
Thanks to the generosity of Frontier Precision, our students gain access to the most modern surveying equipment available in the industry. Through our partnership, Frontier Precision supplies our lab yearly with GNSS receivers, data collectors, data radios and all relevant software in sufficient numbers so that surveying students get an abundance of hands-on usage in the labs throughout the year. Additionally, they supply scanners when requested and technical support when needed for all of the equipment supplied to BSC. At the completion of each school year, the equipment is returned to Frontier Precision. At the beginning of the next school year, we start the process again.
Through this partnership, our students gain considerable and almost enviable experience on the most current equipment used in the industry.
