MDU Resources Community Bowl |
The 6,000-seat athletic complex is home field for the BSC Mystics soccer teams and the University of Mary Mauraders. Four area high schools, three middle schools and various elementary schools keep the Bowl teeming with sports events. Outdoor concerts and other community events attract music fans and others to the open air venue. Patron and visitor amenities include restrooms, two concession and grill areas, and convenient parking. Spaces include an artificial playing surface for football and soccer, nine-lane track, natural grass playing fields, and areas for shot put, discus, javelin, pole vault and high, long and triple jump events. The Bismarck Community Bowl Authority operates and maintains the complex and Bismarck State College manages it. Built in 1996, the Bowl is a partnership between BSC, Bismarck Parks and Recreation District, Bismarck Public Schools, City of Bismarck, St. Mary's High School and University of Mary.
